I have this item and it is awesome my son is 4 months old and he loves it...anyone who tells u the older version is better is WRONG...my sister has the metal one and her son is two and took the screws out of it and now it is broken (if a two yr old can take screws out of something with his bare hands its prob not a good thing) this one has the move away bar so u can take the baby out easier its has legs that can stop the rocking and also can be raised to make it sit back farther or up...i use this seat to feed my son it makes it so much easier to spoon feed a starting out child...it vibrates and can strap him in...my son takes his naps and watches tv in this seat it is a GREAT buy i deffinatly reccomend it to EVERYONE!!!

I really wish i would have purchased this years ago for my oldest child. I have a 2 year old and 3 month old and i don't have to worry when the 2 year old climbs in this seat because it's made for higher weights! AWESOME! You will want to buy one of those inserts possibly for carseats for your newborn at first, I just use a blanket. The only thing that would make this seat better is it rocking by itself. Love how it changes into many different positions. A must have if you are like me, a person that likes to get the most use out of everything. One of the best purchases you could buy a mother, in my opinion!

My big boy about had the wire frame of his bouncy seat bent all the way back at 6 weeks but was still far too young for more upright chairs. I was so happy when I found this. He just loves sitting in it and looking up at us and we have a great place to put him down when we need to again. I also like all the positions I can put him in with it, I know it will continue to be a good piece of baby furniture for us into the future.
I really like the toy bar on this too. The big eyes on the lizard and fly really attract him and he loves to bat at them. And I like that the toy bar swings out of the way rather than me having to take it completely off and put it back on all the time, it makes my life a lot easier.

This is one of those "must have" baby products. It's so comfortable for my 5 month old. I have been using it since she was 2 months old. The recline is perfect and baby stays happy for long time and even falls asleep in it.

I found this rocker to be very helpful to put my son to sleep when he was a newborn, the rocking motion was comforting and strapping him in there and letting him sleep on it was a life saver. The vibrating motion I felt was not helpful, you do not want to get your kid used to that, or you're in trouble at bed time... in my opinion anyway.
The straps on the back of it to make it more upright are a great idea, however I wish it would have had more fabric to make it lean back back more. I'd also would have loved it if the rocker when fully extended was a bit higher of the ground and adjustable with some type of a locking feature so the extentions did not stick out. Minor issues I still love this rocker and I am definitely keeping it for the next one.
